Asian Poker Tour In Macau The Casino Paradise

As part of this month’s Asian Poker Tour (APT) tournament in Macau, teams from Australia, Korea and the United States will face each outher in the JBet Battle Of The Nations starting on Wednesday.
The APT Macau Festival will last until August 23rd and is taking place at the Galaxy StarWorld Hotel and Casino, the buy-in for its main event is set at $4,300.
The festival will see many side events, one of which is a tem no-limit Hold’em tournament with each team composed of three players from the same country. Each table will see two teams facing each other which means that the games will be six-handed. The aim is to knockout all the members of the opposing team until there is just one nation left.
The buy-in is set at $6,193 and the first two teams from Australia courtesy of 888.com. The team captain is James Potter and the rest of the team includes Stewart Scott, Dennis Huntley, Andrew Scott, Steve ‘The Big Show’ Topakas and Ben Savage.
Potter has previously won the 2005 Victorian Champion, the 2005 Australian Teams Champion and the 2007 PLO Venetian Deep Stack Champion. He has also had two top-ten finishes in the Aussie Millions Main Event.
